January 26th 1961 - Anton Roolaart is born in Teheran, Iran where his parents, sisters and eldest brother were living at that moment.

1962 - The whole family moves to their homeland - The Netherlands.

Later , they all moved to USA.

In his early childhood, Anton's father exposed him to classical music which his father used to play at home.

Anton's life long love affair with music took firm grip in his early adolescence when the music from Yes, Genesis, Beatles, and Bowie and others illuminated a path that he readily started down…

1974 - Anton starts to have formal guitar instruction in classical guitar, before exploring this instrument on his own (acoustic guitar)

In his late teens, Anton also began writing his own songs and performing in various clubs and cafes in the Charlotte, NC area.

1979 - 1980 Anton attends local college to study Electronics and obtain certification in "Recording Studio Techniques"

1980-1981 - Anton travels to Europe and lives in Spain and Holland. He remained in Europe for a year before returning to US to go to the University

In the early 80's Anton starts playing electric guitar, mandolin and bass guitar. He is primarily influenced by the guitar style of Steve Howe (Yes) which he studied.

Anton also begins to set up his home studio and explores MIDI and keyboards; his music at that time is also heavily influenced by Jon Anderson's "Olias of Sunhillow (1976)". This influences his music writing as he uses more and more keyboards and orchestration for his compositions.

1981-1984 - Anton attends University of North Carolina in Charlotte and obtains Batchelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

1987 - Anton moves to the Red Bank NJ.

1988 - Anton plays in a couple of local cover bands in the NJ area while introducing his own compositions to the repertoire.

1989 - Anton continues to explore the guitar by studying more Jazz Guitar.

Early 1990's - Anton plays in another couple of cover bands while continuing to upgrade his home studio and improve his recording skills.

He also frequently performs acoustic acts in cafes and bars in the NJ area.

1992 - Anton starts to introduce his own compositions to his repertoire, amongst other songs.

In the late 90's - Anton decides to take drum lessons for a little while to help his compositions.

2004 - Anton founded ProgRockRadio.com - a popular online progressive rock radio station.

2004-2006 - Anton writes and produces the music for Dreamer mostly in his home studio.

2005 - Anton is invited to participate in the recording of an album by Jesdat.

Jan 2007 - Anton signs record deal with Umbrello Records which is based in London.

April 2007 - Anton releases his first CD: Dreamer

Summer 2007 - Anton puts together his own band and starts to perform his songs from Dreamer.

Nov 17th 2007 - Anton has his first gig in a progressive rock venue hosted by NJPROGHOUSE.COM

February 2008 - Anton begins working on his second yet-to-be-named album.
